Description: This Factory Five Racing Cobra Replica has been meticulously assembled and has been built to be extremely quick off the line. The heart of this Cobra is a Kenne Bell Supercharged 306 that has been dyno-tuned to put out head-snapping power. All components have been well matched to give you the performance you would expect from a Cobra.

This car has it all:

* Smooth ride & easy to drive if you're just in the mood for a casual cruise
* The Kenne-Bell Supercharger gives you instant power on demand
* Adjustable coil-over suspension delivers predictable handling, while not sacrificing comfort
* Professionally installed custom fit interior for that great classic look
* A real attention getter...whether on the cruising on the street or at your local car show

The Cobra is currently located in South Florida and the Florida title reads 1965 Roadster.

Color:
Main body color is Dupont Bright Silver. This is the brightest silver available. Stripes are House Kolors Brandywine Candy. The car was painted by Color All Stars ( a show winning painter ) and the car has won an award for People's Choice at a local event.

Body & Frame:
The chassis is modeled after the Original Cobra and is a reinforced 4” Main Round Tube Chassis. Body is hand laid Fiberglass. No expense was spared on the preparation of the body for paint.

Drivetrain:
Engine is a Ford 306 (302HO bored .30 over). It was completely rebuilt over the Summer of 2007 by John's Cages. John is a well known builder of dragster motors & frames. The Kenne-Bell supercharger puts out 8psi and is set on top of a GT40 Intake. A custom fabricated true cold-air intake setup feed air from the front of the car directly into the motor. Heads are ported and have larger stainless steel valves. 1.6 ratio stud mounted Crane Roller Rockers really feed the motor with plenty of air. Forged Pistons and a Crane Cams PowerMax 2031 blower cam help deliver plenty of power to the wheels. An upgraded 8 quart Canton Road Racing Pan was installed to make sure plenty of oil is available.

The fuel system includes a 255lph In-tank Fuel Pump, 30lb injectors and an Aeromotive Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator. A Pro-M Mass Air Flow Meter combined with a Dyno-Tuned DiabloSport Chip keeps everything running right.

A Tremec 5 Speed Transmission, Short Throw Shifter and a Ford 8.8 TracLock Rear End with 3.73 gears help put all the power to the ground.

Performance:
All of the above components deliver 300 rear wheel horsepower (approx. 350hp at the flywheel) and 400 ft pounds of torque at 3,000 RPM. That's about 470 ft pounds of torque at the flywheel....there are big blocks with less power than that.

Interior:
Mounted in the dash are Autometer Ultra-Lite electronic gauges. Original Style seats are on adjustable sliders to accommodate any size driver. Simpson 5 point racing harness, cockpit mounted fire extinguisher, and a functional driver side rollbar help protect you while your on the road. A Moto-Lita steering wheel just like the ones used on the originals really gives that classic look & feel.

The carpet for the cockpit was professionally cut, bound and installed by Riviera Upholstery. High end materials and insulated backing were used. The padded black center cover is easily removable for servicing.

Suspension:
Front & Rear Adjustable Coilovers manufactured by Pro-Shocks help keep the car comfortably planted to the road. Custom front tubular adjustable control arms and AutoWeld rear adjustable control arms allow you to fine-tune the suspension to deliver predictable handling. This is an excellent setup that helps keep the rear wheels planted to the ground for truly head-snapping acceleration when you want it.

Wheels & Tires:
17" PS Engineering Halibrand Style Wheels give you the classic look, and give you access to the best performance tires. The front wheels are 8" wide and currently have 255/45/17 BF Goodrich GForce tires mounted. The rears are 9.5" wide and have 275/40/17 BF Goodrich GForce Drag Radials mounted.

Brakes:
Setup with 4 Wheel Disc Brakes and a 15/16th Bore Master Cylinder. Custom fit hard lines and stainless braided steel lines complete the brake system.

Steering:
An 18:1 Ratio Manual Steering Rack with other well matched components makes the Cobra very easy to drive at high or low speeds. This doesn't feel like a lot of cars with manual steering...you can take turns or drive around a cul-de-sac with one hand on the wheel.
