Description:

Edelbrock's Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifolds incorporate race-winning technology that's been used on Victor series competition intakes for years. The open air space from the Air-Gap design separates the runners from the heat of the lifter-valley cover. So, the air/fuel mixture stays cooler all the way to the heads, which produces a denser charge for more power.
This is an Endurashine finish that has been SUPERFICIALLY damaged by an Evans coolant spill. It has less than 1,000 miles of use and works perfectly. If the superficial damage doesn't bother you, or you feel you can clean it, this is a great deal. If interested, PM me and I will send detailed photos of the damaged area.

Chuck, Are you changing the manifold brcause it's damaged or because it's too tall for your hood? You should be able to buff it out if it's just from the coolant.

Hi Fred,
I've tried everything to buff it out or clean it off, but it seems to have eaten right into the finish. I've also noticed that Evans eats paint, although luckily not on my car.
I managed to gain 1/8 inch of clearance under the hood by putting a couple of shims on the rubber spacers. The hood alignment still looks fine and it locks without a problem and I can now run a 14" filter albeit with a short element.
Hope all is well with you.
Chuck
