Two vintage Ford High Performance pieces of litature. Both items available on E-Bay under Item # 230244712449
1- Ak Millers Ford Performance Tips, released in 1964 this one one of the first announcements that Ford and Shelby are selling Cobra Kits through ford parts dpts.These give outstanding information for anyone who wants to produce more power from his engine. It also includes a graph on how much horsepower the Cobra Kits will add to your engine. It is in very good condition, tight with no loose pages. These are very rare and are very collectable.
2- CARS, July 1963. Two articles on Fords new 289 hipo engine. The first engine is detailed by a Ford Employee. He explains the improvements that were made to make the new hipo a serious hi-revving yet durable engine that can be street driven or taken to the track and raced. eighteen photos in the first article. the next article tests a new fairlane with the 289/271 hp engine. they explain the low restriction single exhaust that the early fairlane hipos came with. plus many more details. Currently for sale on E-Bay under item# 230244712449. this magazine is in poor condition. the cover has bee taped and there is wear and tear. It is still very readable but it has been read a lot in its life. Thanks
