1965 Superformance SC/427 Cobra
With BIG BLOCK Ford Racing 514 Crate Motor.
The Superformance Chassis number or SPO is 2165 and it has very low mileage (1400) it’s like new without a scratch. It has all the performance from a FORD RACING big block engine stroked to 514 CI producing over 650 Horsepower. 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and 0-100 in 8 seconds! Also comes with silver ceramic coated headers and side pipes, leather interior, leather upgraded steering wheel Pioneer trunk mounted CD player with remote, amplifier and more. The car is signed by Carroll Shelby Himself. This car has a VERY UNIQUE transmission that offers an in-dash touch screen LCD for digitally adjustable shift points and firmness. The touch screen also shows the engine telemetry such as engine temp, speed, rpm’s, oil temp, oil pressure etc. The transmission also has steering wheel mounted PADDLE Shifters to allow the car to be shifted manually. This is a one of a kind transmission that can be tuned via a laptop computer. It is to the owners knowledge the first cobra of its kind with manual paddle shifters. This car can be tamed down and made easy to drive in automatic mode, or in manual mode be turned into a monster. The car was professionally built in Phoenix by Anthem Motors and is a 2 owner car.
The car was fitted in 2008 with custom graphics reminiscent of the Carroll Shelby Terlingua Racing Team. These cars raced in the 1960’s with the same graphics on their race cars. It gives the car the vintage racing look to set it apart.
Superformance Cobra replicas are manufactured in South Africa and are the largest manufacturer of Cobra replicas in the United States. Each car is built to exacting specifications as close to the original Cobra as possible. It utilizes several interchangeable parts with the original CSX Cobra. The Superformance Mark III is the ONLY Cobra replica built that has licensed and approved from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc.
