More than a year ago, I ordered a 347 stroker motor from T&L Engine Development in North Carolina for my Factory Five Daytona coupe. After waiting many, many months for this engine, I decided to have a local machine shop build me a 331. Two weeks ago, while it was being built, the 347 arrived! I’ve now got two excellent motors . . . but need only one.
The T&L 347 is still in its shipping crate, and is now for sale. It has a seasoned, fully-machined 302 block, Eagle rotating assembly (cast crank, forged rods/pistons), Dart aluminum heads, complete Mass-Flo EFI system, Professional Products damper, Moroso pan, and SFI flywheel. According to the T&L dyno sheet, it makes 455 hp and 436 lb-ft of torque.
T&L has had a difficult time meeting the demand for their engines. Because I had to wait more than a year for mine, T&L graciously extended the warranty from the standard one year/12,000 miles to a full THREE YEARS/36,000 MILES. They will honor the warranty with anyone to whom I sell the motor.
I’ve got about $7,900 in this motor, excluding shipping. I am asking $7,500 for everything, but I am flexible. Why wait a year, when you can have this fully warranted motor in your car next week?
