***Sorry, SOLD***
I have owned this car since new in 2002 and hence am the sole owner. I am selling solely to focus my attentions on another toy, a '29 highboy.
A rare chance to buy one of probably the best kits manufactured in the UK, a Gardner Douglas (www.gdcars.com) 427 Euro. This example has most options such as quick race steering rack, larger Brembo brakes and dual roll bars.
The engine cost over $10,000 and was built by one of the best builders of SBC race engines in the UK. The engine is a 383 stroker that has been built for reliability and a solid 420HP. This is mated to a Tremec TKO II 5 speed and BTR torque sensing LSD as fitted to TVR sports cars.
Every component on the car was new at the time of the build except a Jaguar steering column.
Genuine Lucas P100 headlamps with protective stone guards fitted in the last three months to comply with US requirements.
The car has only completed 800 miles to date and drives very well. The body is still in blue gel coat which can be driven as-is or sprayed the color of your choice.
Interior is black leather with Smiths gauges. Harnesses are Willans. In short everything is British as that is where it was built!
Please note the car is a RHD version which turns heads whenever it hits the roads here in FL even though there are many Cobras in the area. The RHD aspect causes no issues but certainly adds to the curiosity of onlookers.
The car has a clear FL title.
