Description:

Cross Boss, Inline 4 Barrel Carburetor, Mustang, Shelby, Cobra, Trans Am
DOZX 9510-B
Autolite in line 4 barrel
1400CFM
NEW!! in it’s original plan-Jane box so no one would suspect what was inside
also still sealed paperwork that came with the carb.
The Autolite inline 4 barrel carburetor was developed as a way of dealing with
the single 4 barrel rule imposed by the SCCA in Trans Am racing. Since any 4 barrel carb was allowed, Autolite made the carburetor with the barrels all in a single row for better fuel distribution. Early versions had no idle circuits, this
is a latter version equipped with idle circuits.

Thanks, Jim

Jim this does not include an intake manifold as they are just as rare as the carburetor.
The intake for this carburetor is a two piece consisting of a bottom plate and a top cover.
A new top cover just sold on eBay last week.
If you look further in the list of parts for sale (sort by highest price then go to $6000.00) under a Club Cobra member kcoffield (kcoffield@michsi.com) you will see some beautiful induction set-ups. These are restored and look to be the highest quality I’ve seen. In one of his pictures he has a single carburetor set up using a Ford manifold, his duel carburetor set-up is using a Doug Nash manifold. If you want a complete turn-key set-up I would suggest you look into buying one of his. You should read his information as he seems to definitely have a handle on these carburetors.
I’m not trying to turn you off from my carburetor as I feel it is fairly priced for a new in box unit.
Roger
