Cobra Tee, Cast Aluminum Oil Pan 390-428 FE
This was purchased from Tony Branda new. It has improved baffle hinges (as opposed to the original tie wire) which works much more smoothly and has no impact on the oil pan itself.
My car is lowered and this pan hangs down too low, so I (sadly) had to give it up. The cast aluminum really helps cool the oil, at highway cruising speeds. It has a 1/8” pipe thread tap in the rear of the sump for an oil temperature sender.
You will need a canton oil pickup to make this pan work on your FE.
