Stu, the SP# is 139. The car was
built in 1968.
It is titled in North Carolina as
1965 Custom - Body Style CN.
Hope that helps - email back if any questions. Thanks.

um I think the build date may be off , SPF opened in 1994 ? For us Canadians a low numbered SPF like yours usually means an early build , for a Canadian to import a SPF , we need proof of age , the real age . IE some government regs with a build/registration date . SPF/cobras must be 15 yrs to import here . Hope that helps

Sorry, guys. The actual build date was September, 1998. Must have inadvertently typed 1968.

Thanks James
It can't be imported into Canada. It's not 15 years old.
Thanks
Stu.

Somedayaurora, have just responded to Sawdust with information regarding the transfer of car to Canada which SuperPerformance says can be done.
That's why it's titled as 1965 Custom Convertible which allows it to be transferred.

Bogus title won't pass Transport Canada , it's not a loop hole . But I wish you the best of luck . Nice cobra , very reasonable price . Would love to see Ontario plates on it .

Talked to DMV and they said there is no problem transferring car to Canada - doesn't have to be 15 years old. Also talked to owner of SuperPerformance and he advised the same thing. They transport Cobras all the time to Canada no matter what the age. Call your DMV.
