Excellent stock application for GT500 Cobra Jet Cobra Mustang Fairlane Full size and Light Truck. Dyno software indicates 400 HP and 500 TQ with the torque near 500 from 2000 to 4500 rpm. Thats power, RIGHT NOW when you push the loud pedal. (Software does not indicate below 2000 rpm. The curve is nearly flat in that area). Good streetable power up to 5500 rpm. Dyno print out included. All new bearings, gaskets, oil pump, oil drive, cam, double roller timing set, lifters, springs, push rods. Stock type clearances of .002" on Mains/Rods/Pistons. Rings .020/.030 Deck clearance .030. Crank end play .008" Cam end play .005"" Built by an experienced machinist that specializes in FE.
Heads - C7AE-A 6M19 Correct casting for early 67 Shelby. Exhaust side has hard seats, removal of thermactor bumps/porting, bowl blending, Intake side is stock. New stock valve springs. 16-bolt exhaust pattern (diagonals added in the correct locations) All passenger car and light truck factory exhaust manifolds work with these heads (GT/Shelby manifolds will require drilling one hole that is marked). Works best with factory CJ exhaust manifolds or GT 390 HEADERS. All bolt holes are clean and chased. Never milled.
Rotating Assembly - 1UB fresh grind, ported oil feed holes, factory balance, stock rods and standard size Ford service pistons. 68 style balancer.
Block - D4TE Service type block, Extra internal webbing on the mains like a CJ. Stronger 2 bolt truck main caps. Bored to 4.13 with 3 stage sonic testing (report included), oil holes ported at the bearing saddles and oil pump feed drilled out. HD ARP oil drive/stock pump. Screw in plugs in all oil galleys.
Cam - Crane Energizer 266 dur and .516 lift hydraulic. Slightly more than a CJ/GT cam. Meant for strong midrange and some economy. Good idle.
Intake - Edelbrock RPM stock out of the box. One of the best dual planes available.
Distributor - Stock light truck single point, single vac advance.
