Description: Hello, Can someone in here please tell me if this car has a "Contemporary" body or does it look like a Shell Valley? I will be happy to take more pics if needed. Please tell me what you think so I can accurately advertise. Thank you Larry

It looks like a Contemporary frame. The body is missing front inner fenders and has a different cowl tube and hinges to a Contemporary body. I would be happy to look at more pictures and help identify it. Has it been underwater or something? There's a lot of rust all over it.

I was told the wheel wells & trunk were removed because the owner wanted it to look “metal” inside and out. I believed it. Have any of you thought of doing the same thing to make yours closer to original?

When I pulled it out of garage the other day in order to take pictures, we got hammered with a down pour. Just a little rusty from sitting in my garage all these years.

I contacted Dana Dankert at Shelly Valley but he too is uncertain about body make. He did say it looks like and early SV body as mrmustang stated but he also said the inner door area does not look like a SV and that SV body's are normally sprayed but can be optionally hand laid. Finally, he said that Shell Valley can supply anything the car might need to complete but no guarantee their wheel wells or trunk will match. I think this is irrelevant if you do it right with aluminum panels anyway. I'll try to get more pictures posted in next few days. Thank you
