SHELBY SIDEWINDER aluminum intake manifold is an original part from either 1967 or 68 and originally came on the Shelby Mustangs, GT500KR's. Fits on Ford 390 427 and 428 FE's with medium Riser heads and carries the original Ford Part No. SFMD 9425 A. I was told this was an aftermarket performance part sold by Shelby in partnership with FoMoCo.
The DaVinci carb is a Holley-based 900 cfm unit that made 640 HP on Keith Craft's dyno on my 482 cu. in. CSX block FE. It comes with a period correct fuel log with -AN fittings and hoses along with spherical end accelerator linkage. All of the components listed here have been designed to fit perfectly with each other and bolt on to your big block with no modification.
The Turkey Pan is a one-piece Kirkham unit with pinch welt around the top to protect the sharp edge. This is the best turkey pan available anywhere and is sold new for $500 from Kirkham. The Stellings and Hellings Air Cleaner has a reusable K & N filter and the chrome is flawless. It is the perfect period piece to top off your restoration or tribute project.
This intake system is complete and ready to install and go onto your car. Standstill starts and accelleration are impressive. I may be talked into splitting up the combination for the right buyer.
