This is a brand new and complete Fresh Air Footbox Assembly from Shelby American. Shelby Shop manager Tony, put this together for me with the intent of installing it on my CSX 4758 which I recently had to sell due to health reasons.
The kit includes the vent/flapper/control unit made in England along with the heavy duty ducting reinforced with a flat spring steel coil....not the cheaper wire reinforced duct usually seen with aftermarket kits. It also includes the cast adapter ring for the front radiator shroud, the aluminum duct clips, correct bowden cable with the correct dash knob in the same font as used in original Cobras. I also have the correct pinch welt used to protect the duct where it penetrates the aluminum wheel well (See Pictures above). Although not shown in the picture, I will also include the intake screen that I received from Shelby as well.
This kit currently sells for $500 from Kirkham and perhaps a little more from SAI. The kit is new and never installed. It is period correct and is exactly the same as those used on original Cobras as shown in the pictures above taken on original 2000 and 3000 CSX cars. Buyer to pay shipping from 92673 Zip.
