550 HP - 560 Ft. Lbs. Torque - 427FE stroked to 468 cid, balanced & blueprinted and built by Shelby Enterprises - http://www.shelbyengines.com/ Shelby forged pistons, Shelby forged H-beam rods, Shelby aluminum heads, Holley 850 cfm carburetor, billet SS rocker shafts and roller rockers, hydraulic roller cam, Cobra Road Race oil pan with internal baffles, E&M oil cooler setup, E&M expansion tank SS headers & sidepipes, MSD ignition, Shelby valve covers, Shelby water pump, billet aluminum brake & clutch reservoirs. Geartrain: Lakewood bellhousing, Centerforce flywheel & clutch, billet transmission mounts, Tremec TKO 600 5-speed gearbox (0.68 ratio 5th gear), 8.8"/3.55:1 ratio Traction Lok aluminum case carrier IRS, billett heat-treated/ hardened halfshafts. Generation IV particulars: increased radiator core width (to 26" and the tube width from 1" to 1 1/4", to provide 40% more cooling area; in addition, the width of the cooling fan shroud has been increased from 17" to 23" for greater effectiveness at idle; full rollbar and SS steering joints & shafts; 13" front brakes and 11.65" rear brakes, all power assisted, and brake cooling ducts; custom-made racing windscreen; stainless heat shields in the footboxes, ferrule set and wheel-well foam. In the cockpit: premium leather upholster, 16" period-correct marine mahogany specially laminated (9 layers/inch) steering wheel, Autometer gauges, battery kill switch behind seat, seat tracks beneath both seats, Simpson 4-pt. harness belts, heater/defroster, Pioneer CD/stereo sound system, chromed fire extinguisher, windshield-wiper system.
