Description: I have decided to sell my Superformance MK III as the car no longer fits my plans. The wife says keep it and let's go crusing but I am currently building a track car for my son and I to drive and I would prefer not to turn him loose with 500 horsepower on the track. So time to downsize to a more manageable horsepower range. I am the original owner and have enjoyed this car since 2004 taking it on cruises with the owners group all over the country as well as taking it to the track for HPDE and enjoying the wide open throttle with no fear of speeding tickets. The car was purchased new from Olthoff in MT Ulla, NC. The car is powered by a FORD 392 stroker. The motor was built by RDI in Cornelius, NC. A little bit of information on them, Preston has since. retired.http://www.circletrack.com/enginetec...r/viewall.html
I believe my engine dyno'd out at 500 horsepower at the crank. It has Victor Jr. heads, Mahle pistons and various other goodies that Preston put together back when they built a similar motor to compete in the ONE LAP of America. Behind the engine is the Tremec TKO 600. I have added some other upgrades to the car over the years:
SIMPSON 5 point Camlock belts
Big brake kit on the front end
Braided brake lines front and rear
Speed Bleeders front and rear
Upgraded rear shock mounts http://performanceunlimited.com/cobr...sionmount.html
Firefly Performance headers http://fireflyperformance.com/
Evans waterless coolant
Moroso oil accumulator
Larger plug wires.
Barry Grant Race Demon carburetor http://www.demoncarbs.com/2402010GC.asp
Full roll bar for both passenger and driver.
Separate reservoir for front and rear brakes mounter to firewall instead of under the driver fender
Upgraded larger oil cooler to Setrab 915
Jordan short shifter with billet shift knob
Large padded steering wheel or original wooden wheel
Spare rear axels
Additonal set of wheels with Hoosier R6 tires
Soft top with windows for crusing
Polycarbonate windshield
PRICED TO SELL CHEAPER THAN A ROLLER
You can reach me on my cell phone at 757-784-7474 with any questions you might have. I also have a photobucket folder for various shots of the car so if you want to see something specific just ask.
