Description:
|
I'm selling my West Coast Cobra which was built in 2000. I've owned this car since about 2007 though it's been in my family since 2001 or 2002. The car was only driven for short drives on the weekends when I was in town, thus why it only has less than 700 miles on it since built.
The car is no longer cosmetically as perfect as in the picture as I have been told there is some light damage to the fiberglass on the front near the grill from my father bumping his riding lawn mower into it while parking it and some damage around the hood area after it became misaligned. Also, the chrome finish needs to be cleaned up or refinished. The plastic windows have been removed and I have no idea where they are. The interior needs work as it's just flat out dirty from storage.
The car was recently being prepared for sale and had the cooling system cleaned and replaced as well as the engine tuned up (change belts and so on) as needed. It seems there is an issue with the shift popping out of second sometimes. There may be an issue with the transmission that would require a repair, but thankfully these things are not too expensive for these cars. You may want to upgrade it to a five-speed from the current four as I was thinking to do in the past. Also note, it never had a roll bar installed as I was not a fan of the look.
I no longer live in the United States and have left the car with my father, but his health no longer permits him to keep the car and I have no plans to return. Other than the mechanical work just completed a couple of months ago, we have no plans to do more and decided to sell it as it is right now. With that in mind, I am flexible on the price if it is a reasonable offer, just no low-ball offers as I am not in a hurry to sell. I am open to serious offers.
Please feel free to call me on my American phone number: 1-305-206-3554 or private message me. I am currently living in Japan, so please factor in the time difference. The car is located in Miami and anyone is welcomed to see and test it in person. I'm a very friendly guy, so please do not hesitate to ask any questions. Please note that I'm not a gear head, I just like the way the car looks, so some of the more difficult questions may go over my head.
Asking $34,000 or best offer.
