This is a early "G" sideoiler block used in drag cars and comp Cobras. The block has never been damaged but does have four sleeves and is fresh at thity over. The block is fresh from the machine shop were it has been sonic checked, vatted, new cam bearing, four sleeves and two lifter sleeves from pitting. It has also been lin honed. There is No damage to the block. This is a very rare block from what I have seen. I have several 427s but I have never had a G block mostly H blocks. This is perfect for a original Cobra restore with a 5A39 date code.
