It is time to for my awesome 289 Viking blue cobra to find a new home. It is a close replica of the original 5 FIA cars that Shelby sent to europe to race the Ferraris. I can no longer find the time to truely appreciate this wonderful car.
It has a Ford 302 with approximately 340 horse power at the rear wheel. It has Jaguar independent rear suspension, front suspension is unique motors own design, using tubular "A" arms, Carrera adjustable coilover springs/shocks, and Wilwood disk brakes. It utilizes Mustang spindles, anti-sway bar, and original style rack & pinion steering assembly. It has period correct Stewart Warner gauges and has about 16,xxx miles on it.
Registered under the coveted "SB-100" (California Senate Bill 100)-that means no smog certification, no California registration hassles for the life of the car.
Pictures do not do this car justice it looks great and feels incredible the second you turn the key.
