FOR SALE: StreetBeasts 1965 AC Cobra kit, purchased new in 2007. This is the deluxe kit which includes a sanded & prepped-for-paint body, coil-over Mustang 2 front suspension, power steering rack, front brakes, assembly manual, seat foam and upholstery. Most the components are still in their factory packaging from StreetBeasts. The frame was primed and painted Ford blue; the front suspension, steering & brakes are assembled.
Also included with the car is a Ford 460ci engine with 70k miles out of a Ford e350 van and a rebuilt Tremec T5 5-speed manual transmission. I disassembled the 460ci engine down to a short block, as I planned to install Edelbrock heads, cam & intake (engine ran great prior to teardown). I never bought the Edelbrock components: I still have the stock Ford heads & intake.
I have lost interest in completing this vehicle. My loss is your gain: asking $10k for the complete package (complete Cobra kit, assembly manual, engine, transmission). Located in Southgate, Michigan (southern suburb of Detroit). Please contact Tom Davis at 734-552-0087 7am-7pm EST.
