Shell Valley 1967 427S/C Cobra replica. Electric Blue/Pearl White stripes, yellow 'rookie stripes' and ghost checker flag on front nose [all professionally, exquisitely painted]. Completed in 2005, titled in Ontario as a 1967 Cobra Kit. Only 700 miles [1,125 km] logged and everything like new. Over two years of research (documented) in the build of this Cobra to ensure body dimensions, stripes location, gauge location, and placement of components were executed as per original. No expense was spared in the purchase of original or replica parts to build a car that looks period-correct but with completely upgraded mechanicals. Kevlar-reinforced lightweight fiberglass body (dimensionally correct). Original 1964 427 cid top-oiler cast-iron block bored over 0.030” over and modified to improve oil delivery. Engine was professionally built and specified by Gessford Machine of Hastings, Nebraska, and fitted with a "Who's Who roster of top-end componentry: Comp Cams camshaft,Ross racing pistons, Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, Holley carburetor, MSD ignition, Blue Thunder intake, aluminum-trimmed engine bay. Also have period-correct overflow tank, turkey pan, polished valve covers and various spare parts still in boxes. Ceramic-coated headers and sidepipes. Lakewood bellhousing, Hayesclutch, new Tremec TKO 600 5-speed/OD HD transmission, Ford 9" rear [3.50:1 ratio]. Wilton Wool carpeting, leather upholstery, period-correct Smiths/Nisonger gauges with 'correct' reverse-winding speedometer, hardwood-rimmed steering wheel, ‘Carroll Shelby’ autograph permanently stitched into the leather dash on the passenger side, Lucas toggle switches, indicator lights. Correct cam-lock seat belts. Live axle, NASCAR-style triangulated 4-link rear suspension, adjustable coil-over shocks with A-arms; Wilwood dual-piston cross-drilled disc brakes. Team III 'Cobra' 15" rims and knockoff spinners; wheels shod with Stinger 'Radial GTS' rubber [P295/50Rx15" rear; P235/60Rx15" front, excellent tread]. Comes with custom-fitted California Car Cover. No expense spared! This Cobra was dressed and featured in a photo shoot as a tribute to the Essex Wire Company. She has travelled to Cincinnati to showcase high performance Hilec plug wires and has been awarded many trophies and elicits a ton of favorable attention everywhere she goes. Over $70,000 invested in the build of this Cobra. Appraised at $65,000
