Description:

427 Cobra, ERA chassis #755 for sale. ERA is the top tier of Cobra manufactures, and correct right down to the smallest details. The ERA is solidly-built, and performs like no other car I've ever driven.
ERA incorporated major changes after chassis #731. 755 is the latest and greatest ERA has to offer.
#755 was built by ERA as a turnkey minus in 2008. They even installed the engine and trans. It is stunning black with white stripes and red rookie stripes. The body and paint were done by Connecticut Custom including rounded inner fender wells and an elegantly finished underside of the trunk lid and hood. The 447 FE (428 Stroker) was built by Joe Lapine at Danbury Competition. Both are prime suppliers for ERA builds.
I have all the paper work, documentation and receipts.
The engine sounds great. It runs on pump gas and is docile enough to drive every day and powerful enough to make your passengers scream.
The top-of-the-line powerplant is outfitted with:
428FE cast iron block
4.125 crankshaft
Adjustable valve train with end stands
Edlebrock heads and intake
Quick Fuel 4-barrel 850 cfm carburetor with mechanical secondary
Canton Racing low-profile/hi-capacity (8 qt.) oil pan
cast/ribbed-aluminum 427 LeMans valve covers
MSD 6AL ignition and coil
MSD 6,000 rpm rev limiter
S&H type air cleaner with K&N filter
Turkey pan
Chassis and Suspension
ERA's unequalled, ruggedly-constructed rectangular-steel fully powder coated chassis
Rack & pinion steering
Tubular control arm independent front suspension
ERA designed independent rear suspension with 3.54 gears
The paint job is show quality with just a few minor rock chips. This car is stunning and gorgeous. It needs nothing. I am selling to down size a bit and pay off our home.
It has just over 14,000 miles and is fully worked out. No issues. It routinely gets driven on significant road trips.
This car is well optioned;
-Powder coated chassis
-Six-pin-drive hubs
-Extra large front brakes. The standard optional uses 4-piston fixed Coleman caliper and 12.2" directionally vented rotors.
-ERA designed outboard brake rear. Jaguar differential and outer hub components with ERA hub carriers, control arms and subframe. The geometry is modified slightly for more predictable handling with the wide tires and high horsepower that's typical of track cars.
-Anti-sway bars front and rear
-Spax externally adjustable dampers
-Tremec TKO600 with .64 OD
-Lakewood bellhousing modified by ERA
-ERA legend correct shifter
-Ceramic coated side pipes and headers
-Heat shields for the primary pipes (not installed)
-Vents for exhaust cooling (inner fenders)
-Dual front fans
-ERA supplied expansion tank
-Oil cooler
-Canton oil thermostat
-SC dash with glove box
-Smiths gauges with reversed speedo
-Dashboard knobs for wiper and dash-light dimmer switch, special fluted and appropriately marked
-Visors and wind wings (visors not currently installed)
-Heater/defroster
-4 point seat belts
-Adjustable seat tracks
-Heated seats
-Soft top, Side windows, Tonneau and indoor car cover
-Clear twist off parking lights
-ERA floor mats
-Rear fender spats
-Moto-Lita hardwood-rimmed steering wheel
-Rear mounted battery with cut-off
