used Mass-flo EFI system that I purchased last year and intended to use on my 289FIA Kirkham. However, i was in a rush to finish the car for my wedding, so instead I simply slapped a dumb carburetor(controlled fuel leak) on the engine and called it a day. I have used two of the mass-flo systems in the past on small block fords and they are fantastic. Those were the only two cars I have built that I felt comfortable driving anywhere. The parts included have a value of $2200.00 if purchased new.
So, what is included and what is missing?
Parts Included that would normally be part of the mass-flo EFI kit
1. Throttle Body
2. Mass air flow meter that mounts on top of the throttle body...Calibrated for 45lb injectors
3. Fuel Rails
4. Fuel Rail Brackets
Other parts that are included that are sold separately from system
1. 42lb Ford Racing Fuel Injectors that look pretty much new. (you may need to upgrade to 45, but these are what came with the system.($300.00 new)
2. Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator(159.00 new)
3. New Old Stock Ford Distributor part number F4ZE 12127 AA. This is the distributor that Chris Richards, the owner of Pro M, recommended i buy to compliment the system.
4. Fitting for Fuel Rails and fuel pressure regulator. -8AN fittings on the rails and outlets of regulator and -6AN return fitting.
The system did come with a small block 302 intake, but i sold it because I had planned on using a 351 stroker engine at the time. This system and the components will work for any small block ford, but you will need to purchase the correct intake for your application, either from mass-flo or one of the edelbrock units.
