Description: You have the rare opportunity of owning a Lone Star Cobra. If you are in the market for a Cobra Replica do your research and you will find the Lone Stars are renowned for customer service and build quality, that is why you rarely see them for sale (http://www.ultimateclassiccars.com/ ). They hold up so well the original owners hold onto them and pass them down. They have been in business for more than 24 years and are expanding their line. A turn key entry model sells for over 55K. The model you are viewing has all the entry features plus: black leather interior; dual role bars; NASCAR sway bar; Currie 9in with 3.70 gears and posi with 4 wheel disc brakes to include 4 link suspension with panhard bar; Front brakes are 13" SN95 Cobra PBR dual piston discs. Lone Stars were designed with quality and comfort in mind as they are about 4 inches longer than the original Cobra and all this room is in the cockpit to include dropped foot boxes. I am over 6'4" and have competitively raced this vehicle for several years. I tried to fit in many other Cobras out there and was unable to get my feet or body in the vehicle. This Cobra was hand built by an engineer to be competitively raced on the track. Since the builder was both an engineer and a perfectionist the Cobra looks more like a show car than a race car. This Cobra consistently places in car shows to include recent best Cobra in show at San Antonio Mustang show with over 200 vehicles competing. Several Cobras for sale in this class were for sale at twice the reserve of this vehicle. This Cobra has completed the Big Bend Open Road Race 5 times bringing home a third and second place (the second place was rescinded later on a technicality). You can go to the track with confidence knowing your Cobra is safe and dependable as it has competed at Texas Motor speedway, Harris Hill raceway and others. Only vehicle to compete in San Antonio Raceway car show and 1/4 mile drag racing (also only vehicle that drove itself to and from the track). Titled as 2007 Roadster. First registered in 2008. Painted in 2009. The car was built with a Ford crate racing engine from Ford Motorsports with 3 yr 50k mile warranty. It has a Holley double pumper, 650 CFM on a Weiand intake feeding Ford aluminum high-port 'Z' heads. Miloden deep sump 9 quart road racing oil pan. The transmission is a Ford Cobra Tremec T-5. Alden Eagle coil-overs support all 4 corners with American Racing Torque-Thrust II 17" rims. Front suspension is based on Mustang II geometry with fully adjustable racing upper A-arms and NASCAR sway bar. Fully functional roll bars, not just for show as this Cobra has passed safety tech inspection at multiple tracks. One unique aspect of this car is that it has the racing blister windbreaks, no actual windshield. A windshield can be supplied with the car if the buyer wishes. I have so much confidence in these Lone Stars that I recently purchased another KIT to make a radical track car with so that is why I must part with this beauty. This Cobra is the one that feels at home at the track, car show or a long pleasure drive through the mountains or flats. This Cobra has been seen in Kit Car Builder multiple times see the links below.
See May/June issue page 43 and 44.

Also, the winner will get a full set of assembly photos from the build.
Cobra is licensed and registered street legal in state of Texas.
