This Superformance Mark III 427 Cobra is quick, stunning and is the only Cobra replica built under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc. As Carroll Shelby said, “I've endorsed and licensed this car for being as close to correct and well-built as possible.” This example is well-sorted, equipped and an icon of true racing heritage.
Starting with the highly desirable polished Roush 427R, a crate engine from Roush, rated at 550 horsepower, power is transmitted to the Tremec TKO 5 speed manual transmission. The car is superbly painted in “Galaxy Blue” with a “Wimbleton White” twin stripe, sporting a black interior with original style instruments specially manufactured by Smiths of England, fitted to the original S/C, in the correct track layout; complete with hand crafted shifter and handbrake. This Cobra has silver ceramic coated headers & side pipes, a tasteful option. It is also equipped with the 15 inch Halibrand style wheels with BF Goodrich tires, a convertible top, sliding windows, a tonneau top, and the optional locking glovebox.
Some other goodies include a Quick Time bell housing, MSD ignition and stainless steel quick-lift jacks and roll bar. A battery cut-off/kill switch has been added in the trunk along with a new Optima red-top battery.
Mileage is approximately 7,150.
The car is titled in Illinois as a 1965 Superformance Cobra. Make your dreams come true and drive this legend home!
