I had this alternator on my Cobra for 380 miles. It has a suspected bad voltage regulator. Come to find out, the voltage regulator was fine. HOWEVER, I started to take this alternator apart. The case is unscrewed, but it is not all the way apart. You would need to finish taking it apart to realign the bushings and it would be 100% functional and like new. Unfortunately, that is above my skill level. Part number is: 8-57141. I will also include a new ground strap. Price includes shipping CONUS.
