Roush 468SRFE Big Block engine
482HP/542TQ.
Shelby aluminum FE block, Edelbrock heads and intake, Holley carb, MSD distributor, Canton oil pan.
468 cubes, SR (torque cam - also includes R cam for more legs).
3500 original, trouble free miles.
Refreshed by Tom Lucas of FE Specialties, includes:
Clean, hone, light port work, valve seals, polished crank, rings, main/rod bearings and windage tray.
Includes FE engine stand, R cam, case of Joe Gibbs HR-2 and filters.
Original Roush paperwork and FE Specialties receipt.
Ready to run. Fantastic value. Great street motor.
If you want more HP and Torque a cam change and head porting could get you to more than 550/550.
Compare this to a Craft 482 crate engine. You would spend more than $21k for a build with a Pond block. Or a new Roush SRFE will cost you $26,710. Get a nice BB with Roush name and resale value and a Shelby block for less than the cost of a Craft build.
I purchased this engine about 2 years ago from another Club Cobra member. It was to go into my 3rd Cobra. Life has now gotten in the way and I don’t plan on that car for another few years.
Engine stored in heated garage and turned over every month.
I have all paper work to back up the story.
If needed, I can put this back into the crate from FE Specialties and get it to a local shipper.
It is located in Indianapolis.
