I bought a complete IRS assembly from FFR a few years back with the intention of retrofitting it into one of my project builds - not a FFR Cobra. That project has stalled out and I'm selling off some of the parts I had purchased.
It comes with the FFR upper and lower cradle weldments, upper and lower control arms, new Ford Racing uprights, new Ford Racing 5 lug 5x4.5 hubs, 1999 Cobra 28 spline axles, and an 8.8 IRS aluminum housing and rear cover.
FFR no longer sells this version. This is the first gen 8.8 based setup. The internals are easy to come by as well as the brakes - 8.8 28 spline guts can come from a Foxbody Mustang, brakes 1999-2003 Cobra. I have, but am keeping those parts.
The first pic is a file photo from FFR of what it looks like assembled. Other pics are mine from date of receipt to last Sunday when I rolled it out and mocked it up per FFR blueprint.
It would make a good retrofit to your FFR Cobra Replica or can be retrofitted into most anything with a bit of creative fab work. There is an article online illustrating a retrofit into a Comet wagon.
I can palletize and ship via truck anywhere you would like to pay for. We can forklift load at my work.
I'm in southern California, can probably get to it delivered Phoenix within the next month or so.
