Description:

1966 JBL Cobra Competition Roadster. This car is truly unique in the world of cobras. Tubular frame/semi-monocoque chassis. Assembled in 1998 by JBL and Goins Motorsport. 1 of about 34 made. 6,100 miles. Blue with silver stripes.
Fully independent racing suspension (check out photos), cockpit adjustable anti-roll bars & brake bias control. 17” Compomotive wheels. Tires, Fronts 275/40ZR-17, Rears 335/35ZR-17. T-5 tranny.
2nd owner. Would be perfect track car. Also great for taller guys (I’m 6’3”) Wife says this must go! Check out www.jblmotor.com for more info on their cars. (Click on the Competition Roadster picture)
New:
Engine is a Motorworks 302 stroked to 331. 12 mo 12,000 mile warrantee from July 2007. Forged pistons, 10:1 compression, aluminum Edelbrock heads, new water pump, belt, Edelbrock valve covers, etc. Mobil 1.
Stacked intake manifold, coated in graphite black with polished stacks and k&n filters, fuel injected. Redline fuel management system. Professionally chassis-dyno tuned. Runs great, no hesitations or hiccups, instant response. Hooks up to laptop for monitoring or mgmt.
New Zoom clutch.
New fuel system, including lines, pump, filter and housing, adjustable fuel pressure gauge, and so on.
New Cobra Monaco racing seats, adjustable forwards and backwards. They also make a nice vintage seat with the same bolt pattern for easy switch.
New Simpson 5 pt harnesses, new floor carpet
New tires.
New Cobra Pack Mufflers.
Side pipes and headers just ceramic coated at Jet Hot coatings in Arizona.
Carrera dampers just rebuilt, ride height professionally adjusted.
Paint in very nice shape, but has slight spidering between passenger door and front wheel that can sometimes be seen if light is just right.
I also have a custom Hallmark trailer I had built this year. Would make someone a nice deal should they buy the car. Can give details if requested, of course.
About 6,100 miles on car, about 300 miles on engine and most of above.
That's all that I can think of at this point. There's probably more. Thanks for looking!
