Description:

These are the stock Backdraft Racing slip on side pipes. They've seen 1400 "parade" miles and are not scratched or dinged. I had custom, quieter pipes made and the builder modified the headers so I can't swap the pipes back and forth...bummer. New these pipes are $1250.
Price does not include shipping.

2 questions.
1- These are loud,...how loud?
2- Conditions for fit, they are made for a Backdraft car only?
I am interested

These are straight through pipes with a chambered exhaust in the 4" section. I'm sure they're not any louder than standard cobra pipes...a buddy building a FFR said..."they're not loud." But cobra standard pipes are loud in general.
They're slip on pipes...so each of the 4 exhaust manifolds slips into pipe, and they are clipped with a spring clip. They have a side pipe hanger as well that you can see in the middle that you'd need to adapt to.
To use them on your car, you'd either convert to a flange mount Flange mount or match your manifolds to the side pipes.

I had a set of custom pipes built by Tubular Automotive here in Boston. They have a more restricted flow---three pieces: 3 disks at the collector, a chambered exhaust at the 4" section, and a baffle prior to the elbow. They are very nice, though the sound isn't as sweet as these pipes...a little pinging on the baffel/disks up front. I'm thinking of having them re-configured again prior to coating with ceramic/black.
