Upgrade Sheet
· Roush 402 cubic inch motor with 8 stack fuel injection, 506 HP/493 Ft lbs torque.
· Tremec T56 6 speed transmission (Blueprinted by Rockland Standard Gear)
· 3.46 posi-traction differential
· Roush Pent Roof Valve Covers
· Canton 8 quart Daytona Coupe Road Race Oil Pan
· Oil System equipped with Hamburgers Dual Filter Remote Bracket, radiator tank heat exchanger as well as a secondary air-oil cooler with its own thermally operated cooling fan. Track Day max oil temp = 107 degree ambient air temp stabilizes between 230-240 °F.
· Engine cooling system has been converted to 24 lb high pressure system with overflow and recovery tank. Normal system operating temp. 195-200 °F. Track Day temp: 107 degree ambient air temp stabilizes between 205-210 °F.
· Coupe Connection, Inc. Power Steering Pump Upgrade with adjustable pressure valve option and chassis mounted cooler
· All rubber hoses in the engine compartment have been changed to AN steel braided hose; including upper radiator hose.
· Coupe Connection, Inc. Air Conditioning Line Relocation Kit (removes A/C line from running across the top of the motor).
· Factory heater control valve upgraded to Speedway Motors Valve.
· Plastic Wilwood Remote Reservoirs replaced with Custom Built Aluminum Units (Brakes and Clutch).
· Complete MSD Ignition System with remote HVC - 2 Coil mounted inside passenger compartment.
· Simpson 5 point Quick Release Seat Belts and Harness with Coupe Connection, Inc. Shoulder Harness Bracket mounted to roll bars (Can be converted back to stock belts in approx 2 hours).
· Fire Safe 10 lbs Halon Fire Bottle System with 3 nozzles. This system was plumbed with high pressure Teflon and steel braided hose with stainless steel AN fittings. Nozzle location ; 1 in engine bay and 1 in passenger compartment and 1 in fuel tank area under car.
· Portable Halon Fire Extinguisher mounted in Passenger Compartment (help a buddy)
· Coupe Connection, Inc. DOT certified Laminated Rear Hatch Safety Glass.
· Bottom of chassis equipped with full belly pan; complete to rear valance.
· Heavy-duty , upgraded CV Joints and rear hub carrier bearings replaced with Timken Set 49 Domestic Built Bearings. USA
· All suspension attachment bolts, front and rear, upgraded to US Grade 8 Fasteners.
· Coupe Connection, Inc. custom built tow hook
· Transmission motor mount converted to bolt in cross member to facilitate removal of transmission; factory cross member was originally welded in solid.
· Coupe Connection Custom Air Box Return Grate (original plastic pieces were not capable of withstanding the heat demands inside the engine compartment)
· Custom Lined Hood with Custom Heat Shields
· Ron Francis Upgraded Ignition Switch
· Prowler Electric Mirrors
· Coupe Connection, Inc. Front and Rear Deck Daytona Coupe Mats
· 270 ° sweep gauges (as recommended by Peter Brock)
· Peter Brock signed Glove Box
· Peter Brock Machined Wheel Centers
· Peter Brock Cloisonné Badges
· Peter Brock Headlamp Lenses (not installed, but will be provided)
· Titled in Washington State as a 1965
· Listed in Shelby Registry on page 453
· Shelby Plaque for engine bay
· Numerous other custom built trim items in engine bay.
Car has been successfully tracked many times with no issues. Steering and braking during on track sessions is extremely good and the car is very stable at speeds in excess of 160 mph. This is quite possibly the best equipped Daytona Coupe ever built. Save time and money (easily an additional $50,000 to $75,000 to duplicate today) and start driving it today!!
