Description:

This is an original acrylic oil painting on a hard board, roughly 15" x 20" . It was inspired by a Ford (UK) black and white publicity photo of Gurney driving a 289 Cobra in the Targa Florio in Italy, co-driving with Jerry Grant. There are some small posters of this same painting that come up on eBay on occasion but this is the one and only acrylic oil original, being sold to finance other paintings. The car still exists, currently at a famous Cobra shop having work done on it. Those interested in the oil painting can leave their mailing address at photojournalistpro@hotmail.com
and a snapshot of it will be mailed (with something in the photo to show the relative size).

The car CSX2323, in it's original livery (Viking Blue with a red nose bar) is at Bruce Canepa's Museum in Scott's Valley Ca. In you want, you can see it online. One of the original FIA Team Cars
