Description:

Original 65/66 Mustang Hipo 9 inch housing axles. These are the heavy duty non tapered type used in the 1964 1/2 -1966 9 inch Hipo 289 cars and all 1965/66 GT350 cars. The bearings and studs have been removed, then hot tanked, glass beaded to bare metal and checked for cracks. We then chuck them up in a lathe to check for straightness and machined true the wheel mating face. The "F" studs were re-phosphated and pressed in. New premium bearings installed. Oiled and bagged We normally charge out between 4 and 5 Hrs of labor to do a job like this on a core set of axles if you want to get a set of your redone.
