Classic 427 Roadster made by Classic Roadsters II
One of last to be delivered from CR if not the last one
Delivered to me in January of 08"
"ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED"
This kit has a 4” longer wheelbase & is wider than most kits for taller people. Being 6' 2"
I found the major controls have a better layout which is why I chose this kit.
At this point I would say the car is 75% complete. Here is a list of what has been done:
Chassis & wiring complete all gauges & lights work.
Full auto-meter Vision series gauges, American auto wiring Highway 15 system
Vintage Air heater /defroster system
Full interior kit/ with seats, but have a set of Mazda Miata high back buckets, included if preferred.
2" - 4 point seat belts system
Ididit tilt steering column
Set up for carb ford 302 & T-5 ford trans. I would like to sell kit as a roller but may work out a deal for the engine and transmission.
Currently it has installed a running Stock 302 from a 83 & a T-5 from a 91 GT Mustang, everything functions correctly.
Custom made headers & exhaust for SBF
Custom drive shaft
New motor & trans mount
New radiator & and electric cooling fan
Optima red top battery
Tubular upper & lower front control arms
Ford 9" dif w/3.55 gears with Ford 4 link rear suspension and 3-way Pro-shock coil-overs
11" disc brakes all around
If you know these kits, they all require many hours of hand prep which I have done so most of the body work is done and almost ready for paint. There was a few hours spent in fabricating custom door hinge's as well. A little more body & fiberglass work will be required.
It only needs the following items to finish which can be purchased from a list of vendors which I will provide:
: Windshield assembly and wiper system.
: Gas cap & tank filler tube.
: Trunk and hood hold down latches
I have used all new parts on this build and nothing from a junkyard
Have the manufacturers MSO which is transferable for title purposes. The car is under construction and you will receive the title from the DMV when finished. I will give you the details. If you are interested do some research into the cost's & time required in building one of these replicas..Also there are no emission issues with this build. I have build pic if interested. i have 23,000 Invested not including my time for the build. Asking 15,500 w/o engine & trans. Or feel free to make an offer...
Any comments or questions call 303-239-6857 I am located in Denver Colorado. Or contact me at onetrackrider@yahoo.com I would be happy to answer any & all questions.
