40th Anniversary Jarret 289FI Shelby Cobra Guitar.
I recently sold my '95 Dodge Viper and Lotus Exige S, and am selling a few other things (including this guitar) to raise some funds (hopefully for a 289 or 427, though it might end up being a 289 Sunbeam).
I received this note from Jarrett Guitars in response to my inquiry about this guitar when I bought it:
48 guitars were built. 24 red, 24 blue. We built all the red ones first, so yours, which is #19 is actually an extension of the Commemorative Series. We continued the serial numbers, and built 12 commemorative 289 FIA instruments. As such, yours is actually the 7th built Players Series instrument, and there should have been some paperwork in the form of a COA that says so.
This guitar comes with the original custom silver TKL hardshell case and all documentation and certificate of authenticity. Handmade by JARRET GUITARS, CONNECTIC USA. A rare piece both for collectors and players, and an exrtemly unique piece for Shelby Cobra fans. 22 frets, humbuckers, 3 way selector switch. Volume and tone controls push/pull to split the coils in the humbuckers. Set neck with pearl inlays, and custom Shelby Cobra graphics. If you Google this guitar and read the Harmony Central reviews, you will discover just how amazing this guitar really is. This guitar has lived it's life in the case and is as close to mint as you can get. No marks to speak of. $4,000.

241 miles south of Watkins Glen? Are you near Virginia? I'm guessing you are in PA. Nice looking Cobra and a great color, too.

Open to offers. I sold the cars, and am selling my guitars and amps to help fund a move into a new home, so try me! All you have to do is stand on stage with this guitar and people go nuts! No dents, scratches, or dings to speak of. NOt having much fun with my daily driver, but am hoping to score a 427 once we get settled!

Make me a crazy offer if you're interested. I am getting ready to move and need to clean house! I might be open to a trade if you've got a nice Les Paul, Strat, or PRS.

To the top! Very open to offers and partial trades. Don't play guitar? Try and find a cooler Cobra collectable other than the car itself!

Yes, I STILL have this guitar! Can't believe no one even wants this one hanging on their wall. I'll throw in a guitar hanger!
If you're interested, make an offer. I might even be open to a partial trade for something interesting...
