They are simply reminding you that if you use a credit card on
their payment page, it will be encrypted for your safety.
Any site that accepts credit card info should use an encrypted page and exchange the data with a secure server (SSL)...and you should see a little 'padlock' at the bottom of that page on your screen, indicating that that page is encrypted...meaning the numbers and data are not transmitted in plain-text.
