Same here, been using the Fel Pro 1250 intake gasket for 302/351-W for years, since the around 1990 and the last 351-W I built was only a few months ago, never had one fail yet, no leaks/no runs/no drips/no errors...maybe I'm just lucky, I dunno........

Even re-used the Fel Pro 1250 on one motor that only had a few hours of run time when the owner didn't want to pay for new gaskets, still has not leaked a drop, been like this for over a year now..........

Clean everything (twice), I smear a little blue RVT or Right Stuff around the water jackets on each end of the cylinder head and put the gasket on the head and let it "set", does 2 things, seals it up and holds the gasket in the proper place when installing the intake. Put a generous bead of Right Stuff or RVT on the block ends, NEVER EVER USE THE CORK END GASKETS. Let that sit for a few minutes till tacky then carefully install the intake and tighten the bolts down in 3 or 4 steps in the proper sequence......

So far, no problems!!!!!!!!!!!
