Its easy to check Stephen:
- just undo the screws
- remove the windscreen
- check the alignment
It turns out that the under dash roll bar of my RMC was narrower than the 'legs' of the windscreen - which I would imagine created a stress issue
however the crack appeared after we towed the on a trailer with the car facing backward (final straw?)
