Any way If the car is not going to be 100% correct, mount the coil on the inner fender. Having cool air blow on them is better than raditor air. Coils make enough heat of there own. Heat, vibration, and low voltage are the main killers of coils. It seam that when they die it's in the middle of no where and not an auto store in sight. This effects
oil filled coils more that epoxy "E" core ones. Mounting it vertial is the best way. Next question------
