Al Sharpton's ex-wife and daughter launched an obscenity-laced tirade and tried to avoid being handcuffed after a Harlem traffic stop, prosecutors charged Monday.
"Why the f--- are you locking her up?" Kathy Jordan, 53, yelled at officers as they arrested her daughter. "Get your f------ hands off her."
Dominique Sharpton, 23, did not remain silent either when a cop handed her summons for cutting him off by crossing a double line and running a red light Oct. 30.
"This is f------ bull----," police say she screamed. "You were driving too slow. I have a play to go to."
The mother-daughter tandem appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court to answer a desk appearance ticket for resisting arrest and other charges.
Prosecutors offered no deal. Mother and daughter are due back in court Jan. 19. They each face up to a year in jail.
Their lawyer, Michael Hardy, asked the judge to dismiss the charges, claiming their rantings are protected under the first amendment. His motion was denied.
"Since when is a verbal objection become criminal in America?" Hardy asked outside the courtroom.
The two women did more than cursing the cops out, court papers charge.

Al Sharpton's fury at 'unfair' treatment after ex-wife and daughter get disorderly conduct tickets
The Rev. Al Sharpton lashed out Sunday at the "unfair" treatment of his daughter and ex-wife by cops who arrested the duo for arguing over a traffic ticket in Harlem.
"I cannot imagine how two unarmed women with no record, could be taken in cuffs from a traffic dispute with NO personal or property damage involved," Sharpton wrote in a string of angry postings on Twitter. "Well this is what we deal with everyday. We will never accept unfairness."
Sharpton's oldest daughter, Dominique Sharpton, 23, and ex-wife, Kathy Jordan, 53, were arrested Friday when they got into a heated verbal tussle with cops during a traffic stop, police said.
Dominique Sharpton sped past a police car on Eighth Ave. at 110th St. and blasted through a red light before cops nabbed her, sources said.
She called her mom, who rushed to the scene to find Dominique in the back of a police car, Sharpton's attorney said.
Cops charged both with disorderly conduct and obstruction of governmental administration, issued them desk appearance tickets and let them go.
