Another of those common cobra problems I suspect. I too lost room to my seats with the reels in the cabin plus the ugly look this arrangement makes.

In the picture attached you can see a T arrangement between the rollbars as the modification to my car. Originally just a solid upright with belt attachment points as standard in the G Force and RMC's.

Now the top horizontal of the T provides an attachement point for the inner roll bar hoops and underneath is the rollover point for the belt as it will come into the cockpit. The vertical plates below the T are where the inertia reels will be attached.



Have you the potential to do a mod like this in the Harrison?

Marty Govitt of Kenmer Engineering thought this very smart piece of work up and I am very pleased as it allows me to run twin hoops and the reels in the boot and frees up cockpit space. The belts appearing out of the rear cabin wall is a much nicer look if you can do it.
