the 3.54:1 and the .83 OD is the way to go. But for what you are doing (which is alot like what i do) stay away from the big power. I have almost stock 427 S/O with a custom made carb- iron block and heads even. Could't be happier any body can drive it never gets hot always runs great. Been through the big HP with a 456 HR/ S/O in a Butler.
