I personally do not to argue politics in public but it's refreshing to see that the mess this country has put itself in - as well as a good portion of the free world - is being discussed by an ever awakening global population. There will always be a political bent in the news coverage but information that not long ago seemed unimportant to the average citizen is starting to make as many headlines as the 'celebrities' that seem to be so important in today's culture. The more information we absorb and discuss the sooner we can get back on the right path to solving the many problems that special interest groups have been sticking us with for a very long time. It should be clear that votes based on color, popularity, misinformation or party affiliation will not work if the population learns how to reason and think.

Well said and we are even able to disagree with each other without the name calling and other things that went on at one time, due in large to the moderators and their work. That is why I went back to posting in the political posts as it is good to hear opposing viewpoints and even Ernie makes sense once in a while.
