The 295/50-15 tires that we recommend are theoretically 26.6" in diameter, and they were pretty tight on the early cars. I think we made some changes around chassis 550 to increase the clearance, especially for wider tires.

But, there was some variation between cars, so I would advise you to put the car at ride height and check your current clearance, taking into account that the tire might travel 3" up and 1/2" forward.

Within your choices, I think that the 305/46 might be the best fit. But you didn't hear it from me.
