ERA...go look at them...talk to the owners, drive one, meet the builder...SPF is nice but its more of a production build vs. ERA...ERA is a custom built car, you can taylor it to your taste, or you can build a 289 or an FIA car with them...most of the 427 ERA's have big blocks..the owners strive for originality..SPF are fitted more with custom small blocks 351's punched out to 427 etc...in the end they are all nice, they are all going to deliver fun, it just depends on how close to the original car you want to be....Its tough to get a ERA roller (painted etc) for mid fortys there is no discounting, and its a 6 month to a year waiting process (trust me i know)...however a SPF can be purchased as a "discounted" roller for mid $35 with more options as standard (like a soft top)...i'll probably get flamed on this but I just went through this same process
