Wow, I didn't know this would stir such interest. My thought was how unique the Brits are with the English language. As a child I learned to dislike them, studying American History. Now I just love their use of the language. A friend of mine which majored in English and from Manchester. Could verbally beat you to a pulp with no profanity or raising his voice. Just awes me.
