MKIV's
Depending on whose b.s. you buy into, these are junk or great cars. Supposedly MKIII's with updates, such as frua rear hubs to give more rear track and improved handling, better insulation;although you can't prove it by me; suspension mods to help with adjustments; depending on AK number, slight variations to body lines that are nearly unnoticable except for door cuts. They appear to be very reliable when driven, no worse than others that aren't and the parts are easier to find than you might think; there is a whole industry in UK devoted to them. Drive like the real thing; because they are;stop easier as the brakes are boosted (my old CSX car was a BEAR to stop). I love mine, but it is not practical here except in shoulder months. The aluminum dents easily, but Dent Doctor fixes easily. Need no real inspection issues as it 23 years old, but would pass emmissions and crash for its year and while not as gut wretching in torque as a 427...it gives me a smile now and then.
