Actually.... I would like to say that, but, can I say this among friends? You guys promise not to tell anyone? I mean, come on, there's "manliness" at stake here.
Some of the reports I've read, notably from KC, sure make a strong case for hydro's. Some of the problems I have with them are:
1. Cost, they are definitely more cost than a solid stick setup.
2. Even MORE cost if your looking to get some good high rpm from one. And I like high rpm, 5500 to 5800 just doesn't cut it for me.
3. There not "manly" enough (OK, I had to throw that one in).
4. But seriously, what I mean by that is having to adjust your valves is something I rather enjoy. It makes me feel more a part of my car, more responsible, dare I say, more intimate with my engine. I'm not sure I want to give that up, yet, but there may come a day.
