You're right about garage care but be advised-humidity over 60% and rain/washing will rapidly cloud and then "texture" and dull the surface. Like you I was never a glitzy look guy but used polish more as a preservative.

Funny, in all these years, I never tried this Gibbs treatment...
You should try it and report the results back here. I would like to hear if it actually does what is advertised.

The Bay Area is a fairly mild climate and the Mid-Peninsula doesn't get that humid. Who washes their cars anyway?
