Dove had foundry problems a year or two ago. Their blocks were pourous and had a tendency to crack. Thier water pumps leak alot too.

I think they switched foundry's but they are not the only game in town when it comes to aluminum parts, they are readily available from a number of manufacturers. I stay away from Dove parts.
