No matter how many times I've said this, someone thinks they can bypass the system. Cops are not as dumb as some of you think and know the difference between a replica and a 1965 and can and will tow it until they sort it out and YOU will pay the storage fees.

What he said! The cops in our town walk the car shows and quietly check out the registrations of all the cars there. If they find a problem. They call up a flatbed and the car disappears till the problem is corrected. Usually they find cars that have been drastically understated in their purchase amount/value. But they do find some fraudulantly registered cars as well. Not worth the savings if caught!
